Vacation must-haves for your hair, skin, and nails

Want to get a glimpse into someone’s personality? Look at the way they pack. Some of us have have perfectly organized carry-ons that hold all of our necessities for a week. Others take a more free-spirited approach, throwing in a range of outfit options for every possible situation you might encounter. No matter your packing philosophy, it’s always good to pack a few versatile beauty essentials in your carry-on. That way hefty baggage fees, lost luggage, or delayed flights can’t get in the way of you looking and feeling your best on vacation. Here are our vacation must-haves for your hair, skin, and nails.

Coconut oil

Coconut oil’s versatility makes it a perfect addition your packing list. Use it to seal moisture into your hair, take off your makeup, and more. We recommend putting it in a plastic baggie as it can sometimes leak as it moves from solid to liquid and back again. No one wants coconut oil stains on their clothes.

Whole food vitamin

Vacations are about taking breaks: breaks from work, even breaks from your diet. What you don’t want to take a break from, however, is the growth of your hair, skin, and nails. Keep taking our whole food vitamin while you’re away so that you can continue to take steps towards your growth goals.

Highlighter

Don’t leave home without your highlighter. It’s a multipurpose item that can brighten your whole face with just a few strategic strokes. Use it as an eyeshadow for a simple look, or add extra glamour to a full face.

Top coat

Make your manicure last longer by packing a top coat. Add an extra layer to the tips of your nails every few days to fight against wear and tear. This quick practice will keep your manicure looking fresh.

Crowned cowash

Like highlighter, cowash is another multi-use vacation must-have. Cleanse your hair without sacrificing moisture. Use this to kick off a wash-and-go or to provide a clean slate for a fresh hairstyle. The best part? You’re helping your hair grow longer and stronger every time you use it.

Shea butter

Keep shea butter on hand, especially if you’re headed to some place with a pool. You can use it to replenish your skin from the chlorine, and it’s a great lip moisturizer, too.
