Is Your Wash Day Secretly Missing These Products?

Posted on

There are two extremes on wash day. The people who throw some cleansing products into their hair and call it a day and the people who have an extensive 27-part ritual which uses a cabinet full of products. In reality, most of us probably fall somewhere between the two. Some of us could stand to add a little oomph to our wash day while others probably need to simplify. Take a look at our recommended wash day products to see what your routine may be missing.

CoWash

Hair-styling minimalists, take note. CoWash does double duty. On wash-and-go days, cowash is a miracle worker. It cleanses your hair without stripping it of moisture. In fact, it actually infuses extra moisture in your hair.

Body scrub

Hair is the focus of your wash day, but that doesn’t mean you can’t be kind to your whole body. Use some of the down time in your wash day routine to exfoliate your entire body with a body scrub. Get rid of dead and dull skin to bring your skin’s glow to the surface.

Shampoo

Shampoo has gotten a bad rep. When used correctly, it can only help the health of your hair. Grab a sulfate-free shampoo like ours to add to your wash day collection. The occasional shampooing will get rid of product build up to bring the shine back to your hairstyle.

Moisturizing conditioner

Not all conditioners are created equal. Dissatisfaction with wash day results could be directly related to the conditioner you’re using, especially if the weather is not working in your favor. Experiment with various conditioners to find out which ones work best for you and under what conditions.

Eucalyptus

Make your bathroom feel like a spa for just a few dollars by putting a bouquet of fresh eucalyptus in your shower. Not only does it smell incredible, the steam also activates some of the medicinal properties of the plant. You’ll leave the shower with an aromatherapeutic boost of mind, body, and spirit.

Leave-in conditioner

Sometimes you need your conditioner to keep working for you beyond the bathroom. That’s where leave-in conditioner comes in. It’s specially formulated to moisturize without adding too much weight to your hair. Your hair will be so soft and bouncy that you’ll probably have to stop to take at least one selfie.

We hope you found at least one product that you’ve been missing during your wash days. Is there anything else you’d add to the list? Share your favorite products in the comments below.
